Horseback ride Nercón mountain
A few minutes from the city of Castro are the old routes that their ancestors used to go to the forestry work.We rescued these old routes and today we use to develop our ride through the city of Castro. Forest, streams and some wildlife we see and enjoy the magical experience with the top of a horse.

Horseback ride and trekking Chiloé National Park
The aim of this trip is to get to visit the village of Cucao and see it from a different angle. A transfer takes us from the hotel in Castro and goes south-west towards the village of Cucao, stopping first at the village of Huillinco where we will visit the local cemetery, which is well-known for its unique little "house graves". We then continue our trip bordering the Huillinco Lake, which will then take us to the Cucao village, where we will receive brief instructions and then head off on our horses to ride through the dunes of the Pacific beach where we can observe the typical vegetation of the area, as well as some of its productive activities. After the horseback ride, we will enjoy a box lunch and then the transfer will take us back to the hotel in Castro.

Horseback ride Punta Pirulil
Punta Pirulil is located in the south of Chiloé National Park, and it is inhabited primarily by indigenous people. Our adventure begins in the Cucao sector, where our tour guides will give brief instructions on how to handle a horse. We then head south to the Rahue sector where we will visit a couple that lives there; they are excellent fossil collectors and they have and extensive knowledge of these remote areas.
Later on, we head to the Point Pirulil in search of the "Bridge of Souls". Our aim is to get to this mythical place. According to legend, once a person´s physical body dies, the soul goes to the bridge to ask for "balseo"; a boat with white sails approaches the bridge and the boatman who sails the boat asks for two coins in exchange for taking the person´s soul to the afterlife. This is where we can rest and where we can also take in the majesty of the Pacific Ocean, a large number of birdlife and, if we are lucky, we might be able to watch whales.

Trekking Chiloé National Park - Punta pirulil
Point Pirulil is located in the south of Chiloé National Park, and it is inhabited primarily by indigenous people. Our adventure begins with a visit to the National Park in Cucao. We then head south to the Rahue sector where we will visit a local family, they are great fossil collectors and they have an extensive knowledge of these remote areas.

Dalcahue and Quinchao Island's churches
From Dalcahue we'll take a 10-minute ferry ride to the Island of Quinchao. Our first stop, the little town of Curaco de Velez with its finely preserved antique houses is also our stop over for sampling its delicious oysters. Afterwards we'll arrive to Achao, where we'll have plenty of time for exploring the town as well as relishing the architecture of the region's oldest church. Later that afternoon we'll make our way back to the city of Castro.

Lemuy Island's churches
In the morning, from the city of Castro, we'll head out to Chonchi where we'll make our first stop at its wooden chapel- currently a World Heritage Site. We'll have plenty of time to take in the abundance of architecturally significant antique homes, along the road that hints at the town's golden years. Afterwards our 10-miinute ferry ride lets us off at Lemuy Isand. The Island boasts three wooden chapels that are recognized as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO as well as offering a privileged panorama of this singular ecological niche. The little town of Ichuac is home to the first of the island's 19th century wooden chapels. After a brief stop there we'll move on to the Puqueldon Estuary before changing directions toward the coastal town of Aldachildo where we visit the town's chapel that was built in 1910. A narrow road leaving us with a breathtaking view of the sea on both sides of the road leads us to our last destination, Detif, with its wooden chapel waiting to gracefully greet us before we return to the city of Castro.

National Park Chiloé "El Tepual" Trail
We head south from Castro to visit the city of Chonchi's World Heritate wooden chapel which is also one of the island's largest churches. Afterwards we make our way to the National Park Chiloé. The town of Huillinco at the entrance way to park is also a jumping off point to the lake of the same name as well as Lake Cucao. We'll make sure that we take all the time necessary to take in not only the magnitude of the Pacific Ocean but also appreciate one of the more conserved ecological niches in Chiloé. There'll be no shortage of Park trails and Beach to explore before heading back to the city of Castro.

Biking Chiloé's National Park
At our office in Castro we'll deliver all necessary material for you to be your own guide on this circuit. After adjusting and trying out your bicycle, we'll take a 20-minute ride to the Route 5 crossing that leads to the National Park Chiloé. The paved 36-kilometer adventure begins with relatively light traffic. The first stretch of road winds along gradually rolling hills until the town of Huillinco and its lake with the same name. Stopping every once in a while to pick up a snack or something to drink is relatively easy since the route offers a variety of little shops along the way. The route winds along Huillinco Lake and passes through the town of Cucao, which is the jumping off point to the National Park Chiloé. It is possible to leave the bicycles there to trek the two-hour trail Sendero Interpretivo "El Tepual" or Senderos Dunas de Cucao. In the evening, we'll be there to pick you up from the National Park and drop you off at your starting off point in the town of Castro.
